Welcome to the website of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, Upsilon Kappa Zeta Chapter in Bloomington, IN.  We were established on April 6, 2005. Over the past 17 years, we have fervently promoted our Four principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood.

Every year, we offer academic scholarships to high school seniors and first year college students. The scholarships are funded through our annual Caribbean Dinner and generous donations.  Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. has a national partnership with the March of Dimes.  We observe Prematurity Awareness Month and raise money for the March of Dimes throughout the year with the highlight being our Annual Bowling For Babies. In the Spring, we honor exemplary community servants at our Finer Womanhood Tea.  Breast Cancer, Domestic Violence,  and Autism Awareness are just a few other initiatives that our devoted sorority lends its support.

2020 was our Centennial year and YKZ commemorated our January 16th Founders’ Day in perpetuity by securing a proclamation with the City of Bloomington.

Returning to a sense of normalcy after the pandemic, we will continue to let our Zeta Light shine!  As a community conscious, action-oriented organization, we will do our part in encouraging citizens to vote and support efforts to combat social injustice. We will also continue to provide supplies to teachers and students to ensure that they are in an environment to thrive.

We thank you for visiting our site!  Please do not hesitate to contact our chapter with any questions or if you have an interest in forming a collaboration that will continue to uplift our communities on a local and national level.
